Sets to be the Official flag bearer of the SDP
Alhaji Muritala Ajaka has beeen unanimous nominated to be the only Flag bearer from Kogi East for the Kogi state November Governorship election today at the unity house in Anyigba, Kogi State.
The decision which was taken by the Igala/Bassa Town hall meeting which was organized by the Igala Community Development Association (ICDA) had the Attah of Igala fully represented, all the first class chiefs from all the 9 local government of Kogi East, and Candidates of all the political parties from Kogi East.
after a wide consultation from far and wide and fro the candidates, it has been unanimously agreed that the Igalas who had about 7 candidates in different political parties should all queue behind Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ayaka as the Chosen Candidate of Igala extraction to represent the people come November 2023.
Recall that, Muri who was formerly an aspirant under the APC during the party Governorship primaries in Kogi state was disqualified in the last minute as his name was struck out from the Aspirant to contest by Yahaya Bello in his bid to impose his cousin on The APC and the State.
From the Decision, Muri should be the only candidate from Kogi East to Contest Come November in the Kogi State Governorship Election under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP)
